2016 Pisoni Estate Pinot Noir Earns Inclusion in
Jeb Dunnuck’s “Top 50” Wines of 2018

We’re thrilled to learn that Jeb Dunnuck has named our 2016 Pisoni Estate Pinot Noir to his “Top 50” list of all wines in the world that were tasted in 2018. Dunnuck selected his best-of-the-best list after reviewing nearly 9,000 wines. In June, Dunnuck honored the 2016 vintage of Pinot Noir by naming it, together with our 2016 Estate Chardonnay, a top wine from California, one that is “seamless” and “sensational” (JebDunnuck.com).
Reviewing our 2016 Pinot Noir on his “Top 50” list, Dunnuck calls it “an elegant, finesse-driven example of this cuvee,” while still remaining “rich” and “powerful” with an “earthy minerality.” Cellar it for a few years, he suggests, “count yourself lucky, and enjoy” it “over the following decade.”
Each of the wines featured on the “Top 50” list is distinguished by its overall quality, cost, availability, Dunnuck explains, but also by something extra the reviewer calls a “Wow Factor.” Fewer than twenty of the fifty bottles represented this year have been produced upon U.S. appellations. We’re very proud to be featured amongst this select company.
